CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: BAGONG PILIPINAS MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (BPMSP)
For Academic Year 2026–2027

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office V is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Bagong Pilipinas Merit Scholarship Program (BPMSP). This program aims to provide financial assistance to high-achieving Filipino students entering their first year of higher education.

WHO MAY APPLY?

Filipino Citizens who are incoming first-year college students;

Applicants belonging to the Top Five (5) of their graduating class OR with a minimum General Weighted Average (GWA) of 95% (or its equivalent) in Grade 12;

Applicants who have not earned any units or degree in tertiary education;

Applicants whose parents or legal guardians have a combined annual gross income not exceeding Two Million Pesos (Php 2,000,000);

Must be enrolled in CHED-identified priority programs.

HOW TO APPLY:

Access the Portal: Log in to the official BPMSP online application portal:

The horizon isn't just calling anymore—we’ve officially answered! Our NSTP Seminar Series kicked off with incredible energy a few days ago at the PITA Audio-Visual Room.

On April 7, our BSIT 1A, 1B, and BSBA 1 students gathered to explore the vital intersection of technology, leadership, and civic duty. A major highlight of the session was the invaluable wisdom shared by our guest speaker, Atty. Sunshine O. Arabe (Election Officer IV - COMELEC Tabaco), who provided critical insights into the electoral process and the power of informed participation.

From deep dives into digital ethics to mastering the art of principled leadership, you all proved that you aren't just the leaders of tomorrow—you are leading the change today.
