We are excited to welcome you to the 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙨' 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎.𝙔. 2026-2027 on August 13, 2026 at the TUP Visayas Gymnasium.

Registration: 8:00 AM
Program Starts Promptly: 9:00 AM

Dress Code: Wear any shade of:
🟥 Red | ⬜ White | ⬛ Black | 🟦 Blue | ◻️ Gray

Before the orientation, please take note of the following guidelines:

1. Each section shall select one (1) class representative.
2. Only the class representative shall proceed to the registration area.
3. The class representative shall sign the registration sheet, obtain the attendance sheet, and bring it back to the assigned section.
4. All students must remain in their designated seats. The seating arrangement will be posted on the TUP Visayas Guidance Services Office page before the orientation.
5. While waiting for the program to begin, students shall sign the attendance sheet.
6. The completed attendance sheet shall be submitted to the assigned TUPeer or USG facilitator.
7. Bring one (1) black ballpen for accomplishing the Personal Data Folder (PDF), Guidance Needs Assessment, and Program Evaluation Form.
8. Kindly refrain from using cellphones and other electronic gadgets during the orientation. Listen attentively, participate actively, and give your full attention to the presenters.
9. Observe proper behavior and decorum throughout the entire orientation. Show respect to the speakers, facilitators, fellow students, and University personnel at all times.

You don't have to have everything figured out today. Every small step, every lesson, and even every setback is part of becoming the person you're meant to be. Keep going at your own pace.

Have you ever felt invalidated by someone? It hurts when people ignore your feelings or make you feel like what you're experiencing doesn't matter.

Your feelings are valid. Your emotions deserve to be recognized, even if others don't understand them. But while you cannot always control how people treat you, you can choose how you respond. Your feelings are real, but your actions are still your responsibility.

Choose to respond with wisdom, kindness, and self-respect.

𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝘽𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨

The TUP Visayas Guidance Services Office successfully facilitated the Coordination Meeting for the upcoming Freshies Orientation.

Present during the meeting were the Secretaries of the College of Engineering, College of Engineering Technology, and College of Automation and Control, together with the Assistant Director for Academic Affairs, University Registrar, Head of Student Affairs and Services, Head of Sports and Cultural Affairs, University Medical Doctor, University Librarian, USG President, ROTC Officer, and TUPeers Officers.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration to ensure a smooth, informative, and meaningful orientation experience for our incoming first-year students.

As the meeting concluded, everyone was reminded:

The TUPeers, or TUP Visayas Peer Facilitators Guild officers, successfully conducted their Strategic Planning and Calendar Planning Workshop for S.Y. 2026–2027.

The officers planned the organization's activities for the school year and worked together in an Office Clean-Up Drive to help create a clean and welcoming Academic-Related Services Office. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Assistant Director for Academic Affairs and the Head of Student Affairs and Services for their support in making this event possible.

This Saturday, the TUP Visayas Guidance Services Office and the TUPV Peer Facilitators Guild will come together for a whole-day Strategic Planning and Calendar Planning Workshop for School Year 2026–2027 with the theme:

"𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑰𝒕 𝑺𝒎𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒉, 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑰𝒕 𝑺𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒕!"

The Strategic Planning aims to strengthen the University's psychosocial support initiatives and mental health campaigns by designing meaningful, well-planned, and responsive programs.
