๐ successfully concluded today, April 16, 2026, at the Center for Food Technology and Research (CFTR), marking another milestone in the Universityโs continuing efforts to promote food innovation and community empowerment.
Implemented through the partnership of TSU-CFTR and MSWD La Paz, the program brought together members of KALIPI from La Paz, Tarlac for an intensive seminar-training focused on fortified tofu production and value-added food processing technologies.
During the training, participants were equipped with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in improved tofu processing methods, sanitation and hygienic practices, quality assurance systems, and techniques for enhancing the nutritional and sensory attributes of tofu products. The activity aimed to provide participants with competencies that may support livelihood development and entrepreneurial opportunities in their communities.
The event was also graced by the ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก, ๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฒ. ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ค ๐. ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ฌ, who congratulated the participants for successfully completing the training course. In his message, he reaffirmed the Universityโs commitment to advancing food technology, strengthening innovation among MSMEs, community partners, and researchers, and pursuing future collaborations and technology transfer initiatives aligned with its mandate.
