To all New TDP and TES Applicants

Please be informed that submission of an application does not guarantee approval or the award of a grant.

All applications will undergo nationwide assessment and validation by CHED - UniFAST, based on the applicable qualifications, documentary requirements, prescribed criteria, availability of funds, and program slots.

We are currently awaiting the official list of qualified grantees from CHED - UniFAST. Applicants are advised to wait for the official results and further instructions from TSU-SFAU.

An announcement will be posted once the official list is received.

In support of the CHED ACHIEVE Agenda and its commitment to accessible, equitable, and quality higher education, the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHED RO III), through its UniFAST Unit, conducted a monitoring visit to the Tarlac State University - Scholarship and Financial Assistance Unit (TSU-SFAU).

The monitoring aimed to assess the implementation of UniFAST programs, particularly the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) and Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), and ensure the effective delivery of financial assistance to qualified students.

The activity was led by Mr. Carlo M. Garcia, Regional Coordinator, representing CHED-UniFAST Regional Office III. The visit also provided an opportunity to strengthen coordination and further enhance the implementation of UniFAST programs at the University.

The TSU-SFAU sincerely thanks CHED RO III – UniFAST for its continued guidance, support, and partnership in ensuring the effective implementation of TDP and TES.

Together, CHED and Tarlac State University remain committed to empowering students through accessible financial assistance and creating greater opportunities for them to pursue and complete their education.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT CHED-UniFAST ORIENTATION

Please be informed that the CHED-UniFAST Orientation scheduled for August 19, 2026 (Wednesday), is CANCELLED in view of the implementation of alternative work arrangements and learning continuity measures due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129 dated August 18, 2026.

The orientation will be rescheduled to a later date. Please wait for the official announcement regarding the new schedule and other important instructions.

ATARAH & ASHER FOUNDATION | BATCH 2 STIPEND RELEASE

The Tarlac State University – Scholarship and Financial Assistance Unit (SFAU) successfully facilitated the release of stipends to 16 Atarah & Asher Foundation scholars under Batch 2 on August 14, 2026.

The activity was made more meaningful with the presence of Mr. Marchan and Mrs. Roxane Mangueras, the generous scholarship providers of the Atarah & Asher Foundation.

NEW TULONG DUNONG PROGRAM (TDP) | APPLICATION IS NOW OFFICIALLY CLOSED

The application for the New Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) AY 2026–2027 is now officially CLOSED, with a total of 4,200 applicants.

All submitted applications will now undergo assessment and validation to determine the applicants’ eligibility and compliance with the required documentary requirements for submission to CHED.

Applicants are advised to await further announcements regarding the status of their applications. All updates will be posted through the official SFAU page.

The successful completion of this application period is a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of Christian Carlo Galzote, CHED Focal Person; Marjorie Garcia, CHED Technical Staff; and the entire SFAU team.
