TMCC Officials Participate in Administrative Professional Development Course
The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) of Trece Martires City College (TMCC), represented by Ms. Andrea C. Panelo, HR Staff, together with Prof. Juanita A. Gatdula, Vice President for Administration, participated in the Administrative Professional Development Course conducted by the Local Government Human Resource Management Office on June 16β18, 2026, at the 2nd Floor Command Center Events Hall, Barangay Conchu, Trece Martires City.
The three-day learning and development intervention aimed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of administrative personnel from various local government offices and agencies, enabling them to effectively perform their roles and responsibilities as administrative professionals.
The seminar was carefully designed and facilitated by distinguished trainers Ms. Narizza D. Cruz and Ms. Sophia O. Hernandez, both are Senior Human Resource Specialists from the Civil Service Commission Regional Office IV β Cavite Field Office. Through lectures, workshops, practical exercises, and interactive activities, participants gained valuable insights into records and reports management, preparation of minutes of meetings, memorandum writing, mail management, travel coordination, communication skills, and other essential administrative functions.
Throughout the three-day seminar, participants learned important skills needed in administrative work, including records management, report preparation, writing memoranda, taking minutes of meetings, handling correspondence, and coordinating official travel. The training also helped improve communication skills that are essential in providing efficient and quality service.
The seminar emphasized the value of maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and stakeholders. Participants also gained insights into personal development, professionalism, social etiquette, and proper workplace conduct to help them perform their roles with confidence and professionalism.
This initiative contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by promoting lifelong learning and capacity-building opportunities for employees. It likewise supports SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by enhancing workforce competence, productivity, and professional development, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by strengthening professionalism, accountability, and the effectiveness of public service delivery.
