Laughter echoed through the Trinidad Cultural Center on October 7, 2026, as five departments brought humor, creativity, and energy to the floor during the Trinidad Municipal College (TMC) College Days 2026 Comical Dance Competition.
The Nexus of Azure Griffin (COED) took center stage and secured the championship with a performance that blended comedy and dance, keeping the audience entertained with their humorous movements. Their presentation proved that apart from precise steps and stage presence, the ability to connect with the crowd can also make a performance stand out.
Meanwhile, the Claw of Justice (CCJE) claimed second place with a jungle-inspired performance that brought its own character and creative flair to the competition.
The Dominion of Goldmere (COAD) also completed the podium, finishing third among the five participating departments.
As the competition determined the rankings, the event also celebrated teamwork, confidence, and the willingness to step outside oneโs comfort zone. Each department brought its own interpretation of comical dance to the stage, giving students and spectators moments to laugh, cheer, and enjoy the performances together.
As part of College Days 2026, the competition added a lighter yet spirited chapter to the celebration, showing that friendly competition is not only about claiming the top spot but also about creating shared experiences and strengthening camaraderie across departments.
