With rising temperatures, everyone is advised to take precautions to prevent heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
โ๏ธ Avoid prolonged sun exposure between 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, when heat index is at its highest and most dangerous.
๐ง Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water throughout the dayโeven if you are not thirsty. Avoid sugary, caffeinated, or alcoholic drinks.
๐งข Protect yourself:
โข Wear light, breathable clothing
โข Use umbrellas, hats, or seek shade
โข Limit outdoor activities during peak hours
โ ๏ธ Know the signs:
Heat Exhaustion:
โข Heavy sweating
โข Weakness or dizziness
โข Nausea or headache
๐ First Aid:
โ Move to a cool place
โ Drink water
โ Apply cool compress
Heat Stroke (Medical Emergency):
โข Very high body temperature
โข Confusion or unconsciousness
โข Hot, dry skin (or minimal sweating)

โ Call for medical help immediately
โ Move to a cool area
โ Cool the body (wet cloth, fan, ice packs)
