1. To enroll the membership and unite all registered electrical engineers and master electricians into one dynamic, national association.

2. To promote the interest and protect the rights of all members in the exercise of their profession.

4. To advance the technical knowledge and encourage technical cooperation among the members through exchange of information, ideas and experience and the periodic staging of technical seminars and other activities.

5. To promote closer ties and fellowship among the members of the profession and with other engineers and associated technologists.

6. To cooperate with other engineering and technical societies and/or with the agencies of the Republic of the Philippines in all endeavors which enhance public service and the common will.

7. To encourage the study of the science of electrical engineering and allied sciences, and to promote their practical applications.

8. To promote and encourage researches in electrical engineering and allied sciences.

9. To give guidance to young electrical engineers, master electricians, practitioners of other electrical trades and students of electrical engineering.

10. To cooperate with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and other government entities and other technical associations in the continuous upgrading of electrical engineering practice and education.

The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers – Bicol University Student Chapter (IIEE-BUSC) proudly congratulates our exemplary 4th-year students: Jazlyn Evana O. Landeza, Mary Suzane A. Bodoso, and James Cedric L. Vela for earning the 2nd Best Paper at the 21st BU Student Research and Development Forum held on May 18, 2026, via Virtual Conference.

Their study, “Handheld Multi-Sensor Device for Detecting Vehicle Smoke Emission Abnormalities and Calibration Requirements,” stood out under the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (CCA-DRRM) – Development Category.

Voting for the IIEE-BUSC Election 2026 is now officially closed. The Commission on Elections will now proceed with the counting and verification of votes.

The IIEE-BUSC Commission on Elections (IIEE-BUSC COMELEC) congratulates all candidates for their participation and performance in the recently concluded Election Convocation held today, May 15, 2026, via Zoom.

During the convocation, aspirants presented their platforms and vision for the upcoming academic year. They were also asked questions by the student body, which examined their platforms, knowledge of the responsibilities and roles of the positions they are vying for, as well as their qualifications, credentials, and capabilities.

Since you have already heard enough about the platforms and vision of the aspirants today, tomorrow it is your time to decide.
