Samar State University-Paranas Campus welcomed the Samar State University Infrastructure and Development Services Office and Physical Facilities for an ocular inspection of campus infrastructure projects today, July 29, 2026, spearheaded by the University President, Dr. Redentor S. Palencia.

The activity was also attended by the University Vice President for Administration and Finance Services, Engr. Mirador G. Labrador, providing an opportunity to assess the status of existing facilities and ongoing development initiatives. It likewise served as an avenue to identify priority infrastructure needs and explore strategies that will further enhance the campus environment for students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.

As SSU continues to grow, the University's proactive approach ensures that infrastructure improvements continue to meet the evolving needs of the academic community.

Acosta.

With his expertise and profound love for book writing, Dr. Dominador "Doms" L. Pagliawan equipped participants with essential knowledge and skills in book conceptualization, manuscript development, publication processes, copyright and intellectual property, as well as the responsible use of AI-assisted writing.

Through the workshop sessions and coaching activities, the faculty members were given the opportunity to transform their ideas and classroom expertise into publishable works.

Samar State University-Paranas Campus proudly participated in the Unity Walk Against Bullying and Drug Addiction held earlier today, July 26, 2026, organized by the Paranas Municipal Police Station (PNP).

The activity was attended by the NSTP students, spearheaded by the Campus Director, Dr. Lourdes C. Delmonte, and NSTP Instructor, Mrs. Julita P. Delacruz.

Through this collective effort, participants joined local officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders in advocating for a bullying-free and drug-free community, empowering the youth and strengthening the unity, awareness, and positive action.

In line with the implementation of the Security and Gate Pass Program (SGPP) of Samar State University, all faculty, staff, students, and other vehicle owners entering SSU-Paranas Campus are advised to register their vehicles and secure the official vehicle sticker.

Requirements:
โ€ข Accomplished Vehicle Registration Form (VRF)
โ€ข Photocopy of Updated Driverโ€™s License (or any valid ID for e-bike owners)
โ€ข Photocopy of Updated Official Receipt (OR) and Certificate of Registration (CR)

Registration Fees:
โ€ข Four-wheeled Vehicle - โ‚ฑ300.00
โ€ข Three-wheeled Vehicle - โ‚ฑ150.00
โ€ข Two-wheeled Vehicle - โ‚ฑ100.00

Vehicle Registration is open until the month of August.

Please follow the Vehicle Registration Procedure and submit your documents to the Quality Assurance (QA) Office located at the 2nd Floor, Administrative Building for evaluation and vehicle inspection.

The vehicle registration initiative aims to strengthen campus safety, security, and asset protection while ensuring an organized monitoring system for all vehicles entering the university.
