TRANSPARENCY FOR CAMPUS SAFETY

The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) highly encourages the use of transparent or clear bags within the campus to help promote a safe and secure learning environment for our students.

The use of transparent or clear bags allows security personnel to conduct faster and more efficient inspections, helping ensure a safer campus community for everyone.

Reminders: Weapons, sharp or pointed objects, illegal substances, alcoholic beverages, and other illegal items are strictly prohibited inside the campus.

The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) is aware of the circulating social media post containing a statement about the suspension of classes and an alarming reference that may cause concern among students and the general public.

The College takes such posts seriously. The individual responsible for the post has been identified, and the matter is currently being addressed.

We urge everyone to remain calm and refrain from spreading unverified information, screenshots, or speculations that may unnecessarily cause alarm or panic. The public is advised to rely only on official announcements and verified information released through the College’s official communication channels.

Please be informed that ZSCMST will resume regular classes and schedule of activities.

The Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) conducted a Orientation Seminar (ORSEM) Academic Year 2026-2027 with the theme: “Anda Ya: El Gran Viaje del Estudyante” (LET’S GO: The Great Voyage of the Student) with lecture series on August 18 to 20, 2026 at the ZSCMST Dome.

This annual initiative aims to welcome and orient our incoming tertiary students to the campus culture, services, and core administrative functions of our institution.
