Building a Path Through Dedication and Learning 💼📚

Meet Azhar Iqbal, a lecturer in the Civil Department at GCT Abbottabad, whose journey reflects years of hard work, commitment, and continuous growth.

Azhar completed his diploma in 1995 from GPI Abbottabad and soon after began his professional career. He went on to pursue B.Tech Honors at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Islamabad, followed by another B.Tech Honors from Preston University. He later earned his MS in Project Management from COMSATS.

Today, he teaches Civil Technology at GCT Abbottabad, sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of learners.
His message to the youth is clear: choose your field with intention and stay committed to it. Maintaining focus and interest in one direction can prevent unnecessary setbacks and challenges along the way.

An Awareness and Advisory session on regular migration pathways to Germany and EU member states was held today at the Center of Excellence, GCT Abbottabad. Organized by the GIZ–Center for Migration and Development (ZME) in close collaboration with the TVET Sector Support Programme, the session featured Dr. Irfan Khan, Migration Advisor for the ZME Project. Dr. Khan shared key insights on regular migration pathways, specifically guiding TVET graduates on career, training, apprenticeship, and educational opportunities within the EU. The session was well-attended and generated significant interest among DAE and B.E. Tech students.
