The Department of Electrical Technology, GCT, center of Excellence for Energy Sector Skills Abbottabad, successfully conducted an educational visit to the 132 kV Murree Road Grid Station, Abbottabad, as part of the ET-335A curriculum.
Special thanks to the Worthy Principal for granting permission and to Mr. Ibrahim Khan, our alumnus, for warmly welcoming our students and providing valuable guidance about grid station operations and equipment.
Such visits bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical experience.

The SOLAR 360° Workshop brought together enthusiastic participants for an engaging experience filled with practical demonstrations, interactive learning and valuable insights into the rapidly growing solar energy sector.

Workshop on Resource Management & Maintenance System Development

A five-day workshop (11–15 May) was successfully conducted at GCT, CoE in Energy Sector Abbottabad, with participation from all Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and TVET Experts. The workshop was organized by KP-TEVTA in collaboration with GiZ and Team Europe.

The initiative focused on strengthening institutional capacity through structured resource management practices and the development of a comprehensive maintenance system manual to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability across CoEs.
