We are delighted to announce that our second student has been selected for the Social Impact Seed Funding Award by the Aspire Leaders Program. Asba Durrani has been awarded $200 for her project “Low-Cost Rainwater Harvesting for Safe Water Access”. She is the second student from our university to achieve this prestigious award which is granted after a highly competitive selection process to support innovative, student-led projects that create meaningful change in communities.
Last year, Kainat Siddique has been awarded $400 for her project “Grow Green, Grow Together”. She is also serving as a University Leader and proudly holds the distinction of being the first student from Kashmir to win this award.
This milestone is not only a reflection of the students’ vision and leadership, but also a testimony to the English Department’s commitment to excellence.
