Mehfil-e-Milad ﷺ
On the blessed occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, our college organized a Mehfil-e-Milad ﷺ. The event was attended by the teaching and non-teaching staff, who participated with devotion and reverence.
The gathering provided an opportunity to express love and respect for the Holy Prophet ﷺ and to reflect upon His noble Seerah, exemplary character, and teachings. The spiritually uplifting occasion fostered a sense of unity, devotion, and renewed commitment to the values of compassion, peace, and brotherhood taught by Islam.

Govt. Graduate College for Women, Bahawalnagar distributed scholarship cheques among students who secured admission in First Year (Session 2026–28) at the college and obtained 1,000 or more marks in Matriculation.

The cheques were distributed by the Principal Mrs. Nasreen Akhtar. Vice Principal Mrs. Ambreen Aziz, Co-signatory Mrs. Aqeela Mushtaq, and senior members of the college staff were also present. The initiative reflects the college’s commitment to recognizing academic excellence and encouraging deserving students to pursue their educational goals with dedication and confidence.

The English and Urdu Departments of Govt. Graduate College for Women, Bahawalnagar organized English and Urdu Essay Writing Competitions for the students of BS Hons. on the theme of awareness against corruption. Held in connection with Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, the activity aimed to promote among students a sense of responsibility, integrity, and patriotism. Through their thoughtful essays, the students highlighted the detrimental effects of corruption on society and emphasized the importance of honesty, accountability, and ethical conduct in building a prosperous and strong Pakistan. The competition provided a meaningful platform for students to express their ideas and reaffirm their commitment to the ideals of a corruption-free and progressive nation. 🇵🇰
