The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management is thrilled to announce its premier collaboration with Pakistan Defence Forces in the Tourism Chapter. We share the resounding success of our 1st student-organized educational trip, proudly in collaboration with the Bahawalpur Garrison.

This pioneering initiative provided our students with an unparalleled, hands-on experience beyond the classroom walls. It was a perfect blend of adventure, learning, and national pride, showcasing the immense potential of Pakistan's tourism landscape.
The journey was a deep dive into:

Chairman Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, IBMAS, IUB along with faculty members welcomed Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran as new Vice-Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan .

The Vice-Chancellor was apprised about the degree programs, overall progress and challenges faced by the the department. The Vice-Chancellor assured complete support for mobilizing IUB resources for resolving the departmental issues like provision of hospitality Lab for the students.

The Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized an Anuual Dinner & Farewell Party for students.

The purpose of the Annual dinner & farewell party was to encourage students about this degree & the vision of the Director campus, faculty members of the Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, and the code of conduct of the university.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Department, Dr. Shakeel Sarwar, welcomed all newly enrolled students and informed them about the futuristic approaches of the department.
Dr. Shakeel Sarwar thanked Dr. Hamid Murtaza (ISA Male), Dr. Kalsoom Akhtar (ISA Female), and students for organizing this event.

The Chairman of the Department Dr. Shakeel Sarwar appreciated their dedication and encouraged the Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management to hold such activities in the future.

Today, Department of Tourism, Hospitality & Business Management arranged an orientation session for its new batch of Spring 2024.
Chairman DTHM, Dr Shakeel Sarwar, ISA Male Dr. Hamid Murtaza, ISA Female Dr. kalsoom Akhtar and along with other Faculty members of DTHM, elaborated the departmental rules and regulations to its students and welcomed them to be the part of DTHM.

We wish good luck to our new batch for new journey of Promising academic career at DTHM.

Prof. Dr.Jawad Iqbal (Dean/Director Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce) and Prof. Dr Areeba Khan, Senior Professor, Former President Chamber of Commerce BCCI Mr. Javed Iqbal Ch., SVP BCCI and Press Club Lodhran press member Mr. Ali Imran Graced the event. Dr. Shakeel Sarwar (Chairman DTHM), Dr. Hamid Murtaza(ISA Male), Dr. Kalsoom Akhtar (ISA Female) and other faculty members of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management were also present.
