Yesterday, nearly fifty students from the Department of English embarked upon the picnic of ideas to immerse themselves in the effulgent world of words being showcased in the 10th Islamabad Literature Festival. There, they reveled in the symphony of ideas. The literary giants from across the country illuminated the labyrinthine corridors of human experience. The euphoria of the day’s events may dissipate but their essence would linger.

The department of English organised a thrilling event that weaved together the diverse strings of creativity, intellectual curiosity and entertainment. ‘The Da Vinci Art Exhibition’ showcased kaleidoscopic canvases that depicted various facets of life in their intriguing complexities and beauty. There was also a fierce yet friendly essay writing competition among the selective students of all the semesters. In addition to this, the wafting aroma from the different food stalls also enticed the attendees. The book stall was another marvel that captivated the attention of all the participants by offering them a wide range of timeless classics and contemporary fiction. This event was a real celebration of the intricate link between art, culture, literature and life.
