ڈیرہ غازیخان صاف ستھرا ماحول انسانی کی بنیادی ضروریات ہے یہ بات ڈاکٹر علی ہاشم خان ماہر امراض انفکشن پرونیشن علامہ اقبال ٹیچنگ ہسپتال نے ایک سیمینار جس کا موضع Environmental Justice تھا ریحان انسٹیٹیوٹ آف الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز ڈیرہ غازیخان میں Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO)اور UNDP کے اشتراک سے یہ سیمینار منعقد کیا گیا ۔ سیمینار کا باقاعدہ آغاز تلاوت کلام پاک سے کیا گیا جس کی سعادت بی ایس نرسنگ کے سٹوڈنٹ ابوبکر صدیق نے حاصل کی جبکہ نعت رسول مقبول ﷺ بی ایس نرسنگ کی طلبہ عائشہ نے پڑھی۔تقریب کی صدارت ریحان انسٹیٹیوٹ آف الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز کے ڈائریکٹر عامر لغاری نے کی جبکہ مہمان خصوصی میں ڈاکٹر علی ہاشم اور SSDOکے ڈسٹرکٹ کوارڈینیٹر محمد طاہر حنیف تھے تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ڈاکٹر علی ہاشم نے کہا آب و ہوا میں تبدیلی شدید گرمی اور شدید سردی کے اثرات ہمارے معاشرے میں کیوں ہو رہے ہیں اس کے لیے ہم نے کوئی خاطر خواہ اقدامات نہیں کیے جس کی حکومتی اور گراس روٹ لیول کی سطح پر مل جل کر سد باب کرنے کی ضرورت ہے انہوں نے کہا فطرت میں موجود ہرجاندار کو اچھے ماحول کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے جس سے وہ اپنی زندگی اچھے انداز میں گزار سکے گندگی کی وجہ سے جراثیم پھیلتے ہیں اُس سے بچنے کیلئے ہمیں کم از کم تیس سیکنڈ تک ہاتھوں کو اچھی طرح کھانے پینے سے پہلے دھونا چاہیے،تازہ فروٹ اور صحت مند جانوروں کا گوشت استعمال کرنا چاہیے تاکہ بیماریوں سے بچ سکیں۔خوشی کی بات یہ ہے کہ حکومتی ادارے گھروں کی گندگی اٹھانے اور فیکٹریوں کے دھوئیں،بھٹوں کے دھوئیں کو کنٹرول کرنے میں خاطر خواہ اقدمات کر رہے ہیں محمد طاہر حنیف ڈسٹرکٹ کوارڈینیٹر ایس ایس ڈی او نے تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ صفائی نصف ایمان ہے اور ہمیں قدرت اور فطرت کی قدرتی آب و ہوا کو برقرار رکھنے میں اپنا اپنا کردار ادا کرنا چاہیے ۔ عامرلغاری ڈائریکٹر ریحان انسٹیٹیوٹ آف الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز نے مہمانوں کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ماحولیات کے بارے آگاہی بہت ضروری ہے اور ہم اس کا فیڈ بیک بھی لینا چاہیے تاکہ ہماری تقریب میں ہونے والی بات کا معاشرے اور سٹوڈنٹس میں اثرات بھی دیکھنے کوملیں اس موقع پر میڈم ڈاکٹر شاہین سلیم ہیڈ آف ڈیپارٹمنٹ ، ڈاکٹر حافظ صمد ہیڈ بائیو کیمسٹری ڈیپارٹمنٹ، میڈم عتیقہ نرسنگ کوارڈینیٹر اور شیخ محمد حسین سینئر کلرک محکمہ ما حولیات کے علاوہ دانیال طاہر موجود تھے سیمینار کے اخر میں محکمہ ماحولیات کے تعاون سے ریحان انسٹیٹیوٹ میں ماحول دوست پودے بھی لگائے گئے ۔

On 22 February 2026, more than 100 employees appeared for the test of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority at the well-equipped digital computer lab of Rehan Institute of Allied Health Sciences Dera Ghazi Khan.

The examination was conducted through National Testing Service (NTS) in a peaceful, organized, and professional environment. The institute ensured excellent arrangements and a fully digital setup to facilitate the candidates in a comfortable and disciplined atmosphere.

A cooking competition was successfully held at RIAHS, sponsored by Jadeed Cooking Oil and Banaspati Ghee. Students actively participated, and quizzes were conducted during the event. Winners received gift hampers, while the overall winner was awarded a cash prize. Certificates were distributed to all participants. The event was engaging, informative, and highly appreciated by everyone.
