The National University of Modern Languages, Faisalabad Campus was delighted to host its esteemed Rector. The visit included the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Computer Lab #6, marking a significant milestone in the university’s pursuit of technological advancement and academic excellence.
The Rector engaged in a fruitful interaction with faculty members and students, sharing valuable insights and perspectives on various aspects of academia and research.
He has a deeply held belief in the power of direct interaction—a belief that the greatest leaps in learning happen when faculty and students engage in open, ongoing dialogue. He sees our classrooms, our labs, and our common areas not just as physical spaces, but as vibrant hubs of collaboration where ideas from every level can flourish.
Beyond this commitment to personal engagement, the Rector has made the promotion of languages a central pillar of his tenure. He understands that NUML at its inception was aimed solely at promoting language skills. As of now, he has dedicated enough time and effort in reviving language programs, as he understands that in this increasingly interconnected world, language is not just a subject, but a key to unlocking new cultures and new perspectives, and most importantly a tool for our graduates to access new opportunities. Through his efforts, we are expanding programs that celebrate linguistic diversity and equip our students with the skills to be true global citizens. His leadership is characterized by this blend of personal warmth and ambition.
The Rector also planted a tree in front of the Admin block, reaffirming NUML’s dedication to environmental sustainability and a greener future. The university community expressed its gratitude for the Rector’s time and guidance, which served as a motivating force, inspiring students and faculty to strive for excellence in their academic and professional pursuits.
