Call for Admissions

Government College University Hyderabad in collaboration with the Regional English Language Office (RELO), U.S. Embassy Islamabad, invites applications from unemployed/underemployed youth Aged 17-25 years from Hyderabad to participate in the 6-months English Works! Program 2024. This is an intensive 240+ hour English and Employability Skills Development Course that is tailored to Pakistan's vocational landscape. It also aims to enable learners to build professional entrepreneurial skills that equip our youth to compete in the 21st century job market.

Eligibility Criteria:
The Applicant must be:
- Aged 17-25 on June 1, 2024.
- Be from an underserved community.
- Possess basic English language proficiency.
- Be committed to complete 240+ hours of program regularly and punctually.
- Be motivated to attend classes for 5 to 6 days a week in afternoon / evening.

Documents Required:
Clearly scanned copies of:
- Recent Passport size photo.
- Applicant's CNIC or (NADRA Form-B if aged below 18).
- CNIC of parent / guardian.
- Salary slip of parent / guardian (if employed) or income certificate.
- Valid college / university ID Card / documentary evidence of enrollment / pass certificate of completed qualification if graduated.
- Proof of address or Utility bill (electricity).
