The Pukhtoon Students Council at Quaid-i-Azam University strongly condemns the ongoing war in the Pukhtoon belt. As a united community, we firmly believe that war only brings devastation and anguish to society. The relentless sectarian conflict in Kurram Agency is a catastrophic tragedy for the Pukhtoon community residing there. We earnestly appeal to both esteemed sects to seek a peaceful resolution to this matter and address their grievances through dialogue and negotiations.
Furthermore, we also condemn the loss of civilian lives in Zhob. According to reliable sources, the district of Zhob has been under attack since early morning, and many innocent individuals have tragically lost their lives. We assure the state that our community rejects state-sponsored wars in our region, and we will resist these imposed wars at every forum. We implore political parties, tribal elders, the local administration, and other government institutions to take serious note of the ongoing loss of human lives in Zhob and Kurram. It is imperative that all stakeholders come together to find common ground and foster an environment of understanding and harmony.
Let us join hands in the pursuit of peace and unity, ensuring a brighter future for the Pukhtoon community and the region as a whole.
