Stay Safe Project- 55 students from the Urdu Department at IIUI participated from July 20th-24th, while 22 students from AI, CS, and D-Pharm programs at CUST joined from July 22nd-31st, 2026. A session on the DRR Cycle by Mr. Waseem Ahmed, Manager of Training and Capacity Building, NDMA, was part of the training.

The Pakistan Girl Guides Association hosted a two‑day training on Education in Emergencies Preparedness, Coordination & Response, organized by the Education Sector Working Group (ESWG) with support from UNICEF and co‑led by UNICEF & Save the Children.
The training brought together UN agencies, INGOs, NGOs, local organizations, and government departments from across Pakistan.
During the inaugural session, Mrs. Maria Maudi Sabri, National Commissioner PGGA, shared updates on PGGA’s ongoing efforts to support children, young people, and communities.
Mr. Ehsan Ullah, ESWG Co‑Lead from UNICEF, briefed participants on the objectives of the training and highlighted how these efforts strengthen preparedness, coordination, and learning continuity in emergencies.

Following the success of the Unity Pin Project in 2025, we are now launching the Unity Pin as a Triennium Project from 2026 to 2028, continuing through the WAGGGS Centenary celebration. 💯🎉

This year’s theme is “Connected Hearts.” 💞

This pin will play a central role in our fundraising efforts through both online and physical sales in 2026, further amplifying our shared vision.

Closing Ceremony – National Training of Trainers. Pakistan Girl Guides Association, in collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, successfully concluded the National Training of Trainers.
The ceremony was graced by Mrs. Maria Maud Sabri, National Commissioner of PGGA, Mr. Elnur Aliyev, Chief SBC and Officer-in-Charge Gender & Development, UNICEF Pakistan, Mrs. Farah Naz Akbar, President PGGA ICT, along with other distinguished executive members of PGGA.
Certificates were distributed to participants, recognizing their successful completion of the training and their commitment to empowering communities through the newly developed badges: Money Matters, Child Rights Advocacy, and STEM – Exploring Science.

The Pakistan Girl Guides Association, in collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, continued its inspiring journey. Participants engaged in the activities of the Child Rights Advocacy Badge, deepening their understanding of children’s rights and community action.
Ms. Mome Saleem from UNICEF Pakistan led a powerful session on Essential Life Skills, equipping Trainers with practical tools to empower young people in their everyday lives.

Day 2 of National Training of Trainers. The Pakistan Girl Guides Association, in collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, continued its impactful journey. Participants experienced hands-on activities from the Money Matters Badge, building practical skills in financial literacy.
Ms. Hiba from UNICEF Pakistan led an inspiring session on Youth Engagement in Child Rights Advocacy, setting the tone for upcoming activities under the Child Rights Advocacy Badge.
