On 15-01-2025, GYM -Club CUST, ADEL society, and Global Climate Change Foundation (GCCF), in collaboration, presented an engaging courtroom drama highlighting the realities of climate change. A student from Biology alleged industries as the main cause of climate change, while the other complainants represented Earth, Air, and Atmosphere. Both parties presented their perspectives beautifully, and the lawyers from each side defended their clients with confidence and logic. The honorable judges’ bench, Ms. Arifa Naheed Rana (Law), Ms. Amina Iqbal (Law), and Ms. Rabia Habib (GYM –Club CUST), presided over the court and delivered the final verdict. An insightful activity blending law, environment, and advocacy, reminding us that climate justice starts with awareness and action. 🌱⚖️

What defines Pakistan’s society, its strengths, its struggles, and its evolving identity?
Students of the Law Department took on this thought-provoking question in a two-hour Pakistan Studies activity held on 13th November 2025, centered on the theme: “Pakistan’s Society and Its Social Structure,” under the supervision of *Miss Arifa Naheed Rana,* Senior Lecturer.
During the session, students explored how key elements like family, religion, culture, economy, gender, education, and modernization shape the everyday life of people in Pakistan. Each group was assigned a specific theme, and with creativity and collaboration, they designed informative charts and visual displays that highlighted their topic’s main ideas, challenges, and social implications. The classroom came alive with discussion as students connected theory to real-world examples, debating how traditions evolve, how modernization impacts values, and how social institutions continue to influence our collective identity.
The activity encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, and awareness about Pakistan’s diverse social landscape. It reminded everyone that understanding society isn’t just about studying systems — it’s about recognizing the people, values, and stories that hold it together.
👏 Kudos to all the participating students for their enthusiasm and thoughtful contributions!
