GOVT: GIRLS DEGREE COLLEGE JACOBABAD
COMMEMORATION EVENT OF MARKA-E-HAQ DAY
A solemn and patriotic event was organized today at Government Girls Degree College Jacobabad to commemorate the historic day of Marka-e-Haq and to pay tribute to the bravery, courage, and national spirit shown during the Indian drone attack incident of 10th May 2025. The event aimed to honor the sacrifices and strengthen the feelings of unity, patriotism, and awareness among students.
The program was organized under the supervision of Hafsa Iqbal with the valuable collaboration of the teaching staff and active participation of a large number of students. Event was honored by worthy guests Mr Ahsan Shahzad Shah ( Assistant Commissioner Jacobabad) and Shahid Hussain Sarki (ADC-II Jacobabad). The college was beautifully decorated with patriotic banners, posters, and artwork reflecting love for the homeland and respect for national heroes.
Several competitions were arranged to engage students in creative and intellectual activities. These included a speech competition, poster-making competition, and model competition. Students enthusiastically participated in all activities and displayed remarkable talent, confidence, and creativity.
The speech competition was one of the main highlights of the event. Students delivered powerful speeches in Sindhi, Urdu, and English languages, expressing their thoughts about patriotism, national solidarity, peace, and the importance of defending the country’s sovereignty.
In the poster-making and model competitions, participants presented meaningful and artistic work portraying themes of bravery, unity, sacrifice, and defense. The students’ creativity and dedication were highly appreciated by the judges and guests.
At the end of the event, positions were announced and prizes were distributed among the winning students by the worthy guests of the ceremony. The guests praised the efforts of the college administration, teachers, and students for organizing such a meaningful and memorable program.
The event concluded with prayers for the peace, prosperity, and security of Pakistan.
