اڄ گورنمينٽ گرلس ڊگري ڪاليج جيڪب آباد ۾ “معرڪهٔ حق” جي تاريخي ڏهاڙي کي ياد ڪرڻ ۽ 10 مئي 2025ع تي ٿيل ڀارتي ڊرون حملي دوران ڏيکاريل بهادري، همت ۽ قومي جذبي کي ڀيٽا پيش ڪرڻ لاءِ هڪ باوقار ۽ حب الوطنيءَ سان ڀرپور تقريب منعقد ڪئي وئي۔ هن تقريب جو مقصد شاگردياڻين ۾ اتحاد، حب الوطني ۽ قومي شعور کي وڌيڪ مضبوط بڻائڻ هو۔
هي پروگرام محترمه حفصه اقبال جي نگراني هيٺ تدريسي عملي جي ڀرپور سهڪار ۽ وڏي انگ ۾ شاگردياڻين جي سرگرم شرڪت سان منعقد ڪيو ويو۔ تقريب جا معزز مهمان جناب احسن شهزاد شاهه (اسسٽنٽ ڪمشنر جيڪب آباد) ۽ شاهد حسين سرڪي (اي ڊي سي-II جيڪب آباد) هئا۔ ڪاليج کي حب الوطنيءَ وارن بينرن، پوسٽرن ۽ فن پارن سان خوبصورت نموني سينگاريو ويو، جيڪي وطن سان محبت ۽ قومي هيروز لاءِ احترام جي عڪاسي ڪري رهيا هئا۔
شاگردياڻين کي تخليقي ۽ ذهني سرگرمين ۾ شامل ڪرڻ لاءِ مختلف مقابلا منعقد ڪيا ويا، جن ۾ تقريري مقابلو، پوسٽر سازي مقابلو ۽ ماڊل مقابلو شامل هئا۔ شاگردياڻين وڏي جوش ۽ جذبي سان انهن سرگرمين ۾ حصو ورتو ۽ پنهنجي صلاحيتن، اعتماد ۽ تخليقيت جو شاندار مظاهرو ڪيو۔
تقريري مقابلو هن پروگرام جي اهم نمايان حصن مان هڪ هو۔ شاگردياڻين سنڌي، اردو ۽ انگريزي ٻولين ۾ زبردست تقريرون پيش ڪيون، جن ۾ حب الوطني، قومي يڪجهتي، امن ۽ ملڪ جي خودمختياري جي حفاظت جي اهميت تي پنهنجا خيال ظاهر ڪيا۔
پوسٽر سازي ۽ ماڊل مقابلن ۾ شرڪت ڪندڙن بهادري، اتحاد، قرباني ۽ دفاع جهڙن موضوعن تي خوبصورت ۽ بامقصد فن پارا پيش ڪيا۔ شاگردياڻين جي تخليقي صلاحيتن ۽ محنت کي ججن ۽ مهمانن طرفان تمام گهڻو ساراهيو ويو۔
تقريب جي آخر ۾ ڪامياب شاگردياڻين جي پوزيشنن جو اعلان ڪيو ويو ۽ معزز مهمانن طرفان انعام ورهايا ويا۔ مهمانن ڪاليج انتظاميا، استادن ۽ شاگردياڻين جي اهڙي بامقصد ۽ يادگار پروگرام جي ڪامياب انعقاد تي واکاڻ ڪئي۔

COMMEMORATION EVENT OF MARKA-E-HAQ DAY

A solemn and patriotic event was organized today at Government Girls Degree College Jacobabad to commemorate the historic day of Marka-e-Haq and to pay tribute to the bravery, courage, and national spirit shown during the Indian drone attack incident of 10th May 2025. The event aimed to honor the sacrifices and strengthen the feelings of unity, patriotism, and awareness among students.
The program was organized under the supervision of Hafsa Iqbal with the valuable collaboration of the teaching staff and active participation of a large number of students. Event was honored by worthy guests Mr Ahsan Shahzad Shah ( Assistant Commissioner Jacobabad) and Shahid Hussain Sarki (ADC-II Jacobabad). The college was beautifully decorated with patriotic banners, posters, and artwork reflecting love for the homeland and respect for national heroes.
Several competitions were arranged to engage students in creative and intellectual activities. These included a speech competition, poster-making competition, and model competition. Students enthusiastically participated in all activities and displayed remarkable talent, confidence, and creativity.
The speech competition was one of the main highlights of the event. Students delivered powerful speeches in Sindhi, Urdu, and English languages, expressing their thoughts about patriotism, national solidarity, peace, and the importance of defending the country’s sovereignty.
In the poster-making and model competitions, participants presented meaningful and artistic work portraying themes of bravery, unity, sacrifice, and defense. The students’ creativity and dedication were highly appreciated by the judges and guests.
At the end of the event, positions were announced and prizes were distributed among the winning students by the worthy guests of the ceremony. The guests praised the efforts of the college administration, teachers, and students for organizing such a meaningful and memorable program.
The event concluded with prayers for the peace, prosperity, and security of Pakistan.

The farewell ceremony for the second year students was held with great enthusiasm and warmth. The event was organized with the collaboration of the second year students and the respected Principal Hafsa Iqbal. It was a memorable occasion that reflected the strong bond between the students and the institution.
The ceremony began with welcoming remarks, followed by speeches from teachers and students. The speakers appreciated the hard work, dedication, and achievements of the second year students during their time at the college. Various activities including cake cutting ceremony, were arranged to make the event lively and enjoyable for everyone present.
The farewell was filled with emotions, as it marked the end of an important chapter in the students’ lives. Teachers shared heartfelt advice and best wishes for the students’ bright futures. Many students also expressed their gratitude to their teachers and the college for guiding them throughout their academic journey.
Although the occasion carried a sense of sadness due to the departure of the students, it was also a moment of pride and celebration. The Pre-Board Examinations for Class XI and XII and the Mid-Term Examinations for BS programs were successfully conducted on 14 March 2026 at Government Girls Degree College Jacobabad. The examinations covered the following subjects:
Physics-I & II
Botany-I & II
Islamic Studies
Introduction to Morphology
Semantics
Functional English
The examinations were conducted smoothly under the careful supervision of the Principal, Prof. Hafsa Kalwar, who ensured that proper discipline and examination regulations were strictly observed throughout the process.
The invigilation duties were efficiently performed by Miss Komal Pathan, Miss Natasha Solangi, Miss Sadaf Lashari, Miss Hasina Chandio, Miss Amina Pathan, Miss Fatima Lashari, and Sir Irfanullah Soomro, as assigned by the Principal. The invigilators carried out their responsibilities with dedication and professionalism, ensuring that the examination environment remained fair, disciplined, and orderly.
