A seminar was held at Sukkur IBA University Kandhkot Campus to raise awareness about the protection of women from workplace harassment. The event was organized under the directions of Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Justice (Retd.) Shahnawaz Tariq, and chaired by Consultant Provincial Ombudsman, Mr. Haider Ali Abro (Retired District and Sessions Judge), with the support of Dr. Abdul Qadir Rahimoon, Pro Vice Chancellor of the Kandhkot Campus.

Female students and professional women attended the seminar in large numbers. The speakers highlighted the importance of providing a safe and respectful workplace for women and protecting their rights. They also explained the laws against workplace harassment and the steps women can take if they face such issues.

Mr. Haider Ali Abro said that the government has strict laws to protect women and ensure they can work without fear. He added that a Protection Office has been established in Kashmore District where women can submit complaints about workplace harassment. Complaints will be decided within one month, and justice will be provided. He also announced that more awareness seminars on women's rights will be held across the district.

The Department of Computer Science, Sukkur IBA University – Kandhkot Campus, proudly congratulates the Batch of BS-CS (Fall 2021) for the successful defense of their Final Year Projects (FYPs). Our talented students showcased a range of innovative, technology-driven solutions addressing real-world challenges in domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, IoT, and Data Science. Their projects reflected creativity, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
We were honored to host Dr. Faisal Bin Ubaid and Dr. Jawaid Ahmed Siddique from the Department of Computer Science, Sukkur IBA University (Main Campus) as external evaluators. They appreciated the students’ research efforts, technical depth, and presentation quality. Both dignitaries acknowledged the growing potential of our students as emerging innovators. A few of the presented projects have shown promising potential for entrepreneurial development and real-world implementation, marking a step forward in fostering applied innovation at our campus.
