On 22nd February 2023, as part of the Center for Learning and Teaching's (CLT) Guest Lecture Series, the Biomedical Engineering Department at Salim Habib University organised a lecture by Dr. Muhammad Rehan, Assistant Professor, Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology, titled "Pill-Sized Robot to Diagnose & Monitor Gut Health."

To motivate BME students and enhance their learning towards the area of Research and Development, a guest lecture session titled “Understanding Research Dynamics” was held on Thursday’29th September’2022 which was organized by We.ME society. The session was conducted by Dr.Tehseen Jawaid who is Associate Professor (FMS) & Director ORIC at SHU. He shared his expert knowledge on the need and protocols of conducting an effective research. The session was well interactive and addressed students queries related to research in general.

We.M.E Society conducted interviews yesterday for the shortlisted candidates for their selected teams. The purpose of these interviews were to establish a team-based system in which the candidates that will be working under these teams:

• Presidential Team.
• Logistics Team.
• General Secretary Team.
• Media and Marketing Team.
• Treasurer's Team.

The We.M.E Society in Collaboration with Indus Hospital & Health Network organized a Fun-Filled Fund Gala in which a total of eight teams participated and A final match was played between two teams: All-Stars & Royal FC. Team Royal FC won the Futsal Final against Team All-Stars.
We.M.E Society feel immensely delighted and is proud after seeing the enthusiasm of such fine individuals and Proudly Presented the Futsal Winner Trophy to Team Royal FC. The Runner-Up Trophy Was awarded to Team All-Stars.

Nothing brings people together like good food!! 🍔❤️
The We.M.E Society In Collaboration with Indus Hospital & Health Network organized a Fun-Filled Fund Gala. It was a full-day event where different food stalls were set up by the students of Salim Habib University with so many amazing foods that successfully catered to all foodies! Along with the Food Stalls, Amazing Game stalls were also organized in which students fully participated and enjoyed.

We hope you enjoyed the games, food, and fun that were put together with a lot of dedication and effort!

Presenting you’ll the official Society Launch of We.M. E – We. MEETUP which promises to be the peak of your week featuring the Exclusive concert of “Khudgharz” and the screening of three movies!

Movies:
• Hera Pheri (Lecture Hall #1)
Official Timings: 11:30am-2pm
• Dr. Strange (Lecture Hall #2)
Official Timings: 12pm-2pm
• Conjuring 2 (Lecture Hall #3)
Official Timings: 12pm-2pm

The movie tickets will be available tomorrow but it will be based on the First come first served.

Ceremony:
A We.M.E Ceremony is also arranged in which the participants and the volunteers will receive their awards and appreciation certificates.
Official Timings: 2pm – 2:30pm

Musical Concert:
Get ready to sing along to all your favorite songs with the topmost trending band “KhudGharz” who surely knows to pull out anyone’s musical soul!
Official Timings: 2:30pm-5pm.

Note: For Concert, please note externals can only enter MBB auditorium on the show of ticket while SHU ID Cards are a must for SHU students’. Entrance in concert is not allowed in any case of non-compliance with the above-mentioned instructions.
