Hello everyone,
I just want to share something from my own experience that I feel is important for students to know. Preparing for a job should start much earlier than most of us think. Job life is completely different from university life, and I realized this a bit late. In reality, no one will be responsible for your career except you.
First of all, choose the best career for yourself. It does not matter whether your department is medical, engineering, arts, tech, or any other field. Do not blindly follow friends or trends. Take time to understand your interests and future opportunities. Once you choose a path, focus on it and work on building strong expertise. In job life, skills and practical knowledge matter more than university grades.
I personally faced a lot of difficulty in finding a job after university because I was not fully prepared for real-world requirements. University mostly provides theoretical knowledge, but job life demands practical skills, experience, and confidence.
If you are a final-year university student, this is the right time to act. Create a strong LinkedIn profile and start applying for internships related to your field. Internships help you understand professional life before graduation and reduce stress later.
In the end, I would say this: start early, stay consistent, and invest in yourself. The efforts you make today will shape a more confident and secure tomorrow.
