Internship opportunity for Media Sciences students

Center of Excellence in Journalism (CEJ-IBA) requires volunteer interns for a series of their upcoming workshops. This is an excellent opportunity for students to connect with experts and industry professionals. Students who participate will:

- Represent Iqra University Media Science Department
- Get exposure in the industry
- Connect with leading experts and professionals
- Get experience of organizing high profile workshops
- Receive a certificate from CEJ-IBA

Dec 26-29 Feature writing workshop
Dec 28-29 Alif Ailan education reporters Workshop

Concept Artist/ illustrator/Storyboard Artist | nextOsys(A sharpimage company)

Candidate required skills:
Should have excellent visual , verbal and written communication skills
Should be able to multi task and have knowledge & expertise of Adobe illustrator & Photoshop
Must have an excellent understanding of Interactive visual designing
Must have strong visual and transition sense as well as cartoon & character illustration skills
Expert knowledge of anatomy like vector and character designing , typographic , motion graphics and info graphics
Strong analytical and team work skills
Expert knowledge of storytelling and cinematic compositions
Qualifications:
Graduate/Diploma ,Bachelors in Media Science’s or Visual Art
1-2 years’ experience of storyboarding required , preferably for commercials
Fresh graduates may also apply

Put in this folder the movie, the poster and the Updated Report (Make sure Table of Contents is updated and displays the correct page numbers)

Put on CD and bring on multiple USBs as well.

Tomorrow a Drawing/Sketching/ Painting Competition will be held at the "Spring of Freedom"- Independence Day Celebration. The students interested in participating kindly carry their materials which includes sheets, drawing/painting(All the necessary equipments required). Drawing boards will be provided.

Theme is anything potraying Pakistan, 14th August, Patriotism. Cultural, Monumental buildings etc.
