IU-ACM ACM Student Chapter of Iqra University IUACM chapter is an extension of ACM and aims at enhancing the computing skills of students in the campus.

ACM, the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and as a profession. IU-ACM student chapter was approved by ACM on June 01, 2010. We aim at being an active community in the field of computer science and related disciplines with primary mission to educate students, discover and disseminate knowledge through research, to b

uild interest among the students for computer science apart from what they learn during the course work. IU-ACM also organizes competitions of gaming, programming and graphics designing,development,different workshops and seminars as an opportunity for the students to come and demonstrates their talent. The chapter regularly organizes seminars and workshop on various subjects with aim to infuse the spirit of technology and computing among the students of Iqra University

The Ruby Meetup Karachi is aimed to gather all the Ruby enthusiasts in Karachi. Here we have talks & presentations on current Ruby development plus an opportunity for professionals to network.
