APWA Government College for Women, Karimabad, Karachi

As part of the Independence Day Celebrations 2026, APWA Government College for Women, Karimabad, Karachi, organised a Speech Competition and Quiz Competition with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The Speech Competition was organised by Prof. Afsheen Jehan Farooqi and Prof. Soobia Sultana. The students participated with remarkable enthusiasm and confidence. The speeches reflected not only patriotic sentiments but also a deep sense of responsibility towards the progress, prosperity, and future of Pakistan.

The Quiz Competition was organised under the supervision of Prof. Sadia Takreem and Prof. Ambreen Naz. The competition provided an engaging opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge of Pakistan's recent history, national affairs, and current affairs. The challenging and informative questions made the activity both educational and enjoyable, adding valuable knowledge to the students as well as the participating teachers.

Hafiza Dr.Asma Asghar Rasheed and Prof.Shazia Abbasi were the judges of the competition.

In her address, Principal APWA Government College for Women, Prof. Sameena Mudassir, appreciated the students and teachers for their untiring efforts, dedication, and enthusiasm in making the Independence Day celebrations meaningful, vibrant, and memorable.

The activities served as a wonderful reminder that the spirit of independence is not merely about celebrating freedom, but also about understanding our responsibilities and contributing positively to the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

Apwa Government College for Women, Karimabad, Karachi organized a vibrant Poster Competition under the inspiring supervision of Principal Prof. Samina Mudassir.
Students participated with remarkable enthusiasm and creativity, presenting thought-provoking posters that beautifully portrayed the struggle for Pakistan's independence, the sacrifices made during the freedom movement, and the responsibilities of today's youth in building a stronger, brighter, and more prosperous Pakistan.
The Poster Committee comprised Prof. Dr. Urooj Aziz, Prof. Tehreem Kazim, and Prof. Rahila Basit, who ensured the successful organization of the event. The posters were evaluated by Prof. Amber Aliya and Prof. Shazia Abbasi.
In her concluding address, Principal Prof. Samina Mudassir applauded the students for their outstanding creativity and emphasized the powerful role of art, colors, and paintings in conveying meaningful messages and inspiring social awareness, particularly during movements for freedom and national awakening.

Independence Day Celebrations 2026.
Eassay competition was held at APWA Govt College for Women Karimabad Karachi as a part of independence day celebrations on 3rd August 2026.Students participated in English and Urdu eassay competition .Dr. Hafiza Asma Asghar Rasheed and Prof.Shazia Abbasi were the judges of the competition. Principal Prof. Sameena in her address highlighted the struggle and role of pen in independence movement and encouraged the students for their active participation.
