Fourth Anti-Harassment Awareness Session

The Third Anti-Harassment Awareness Session was conducted for the First Year Morning students of the Faculty of Pharmacy on Thursday, 6 August 2026.

The session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Shamim Akhtar and Dr. Beensih Khan, Clinical Psychologist.

The session focused on creating awareness among students regarding harassment, respectful behaviour, professional boundaries, and the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

Students were provided with an opportunity to develop a better understanding of appropriate interpersonal conduct, the importance of mutual respect, and the available mechanisms for addressing and reporting concerns related to harassment.

The session was an informative and meaningful initiative aimed at promoting awareness, professionalism, and a positive academic environment among future healthcare professionals.

The 1st Professional Year (Evening) students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Hamdard University attended an Anti-Harassment Awareness Session on 5 August 2026, conducted by Prof. Dr. Shamim Akhtar, Dr.Beenish Khan and Dr. Tahmina Maqbool (Student Advisor) for organizing this meaningful session and promoting awareness among future healthcare professionals. Such initiatives play a vital role in creating a positive and supportive academic environment.

The session highlighted the importance of mutual respect, professionalism, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. It provided students with valuable insights into recognizing, preventing, and addressing harassment, reinforcing the principles of ethical conduct and professional responsibility.

An Anti-Harassment Awareness Session (AHS) was conducted by Prof. Dr. Shamim Akhtar for the Second Professional Year (Evening) students on August 3, 2026, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Hamdard University.

The session aimed to raise awareness about workplace and academic harassment, promote a respectful and inclusive learning environment, and familiarize students with the University's anti-harassment policies and reporting mechanisms.
