The Student Research Forum proudly hosted the Inaugural AKU Faculty of Arts and Sciences Student Research Conference — on February 7–8, 2026 marking a significant milestone in student-led scholarship at AKU.

Centered on the theme “Ideas Beyond Borders: Interdisciplinary Pathways to Shared Futures,” the conference reflected the founding vision of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences: to transcend disciplinary silos and address complex global challenges through integrative thinking.

The conference brought together participants from universities across Pakistan — including IVS, IBA, LUMS, and Habib University — as well as representation from AKU Kenya, fostering a truly cross-institutional and cross-regional dialogue.

Organized around six subthemes — from Environment and Sustainability to Policy and Governance, Health and Wellbeing, and Culture and Identity, among others — the program created space for wide-ranging yet interconnected conversations.
