. The BE-Mechanical Engineering Curriculum at DSU is designed to make Mechanical engineers become effective technology developers. This entails using theory to hone and develop engineering skills along with in-depth laboratory sessions to complete the understanding of undergraduate students. The curriculum allows students to move into new and emerging fields like fuel cell technology, robotics, mechatronics and nanotechnology, in addition to the conventional engineering technologies involving energy systems, applied mechanics, automotive design, manufacturing, materials, plant engineering and maintenance, pressure vessels and piping, and heating, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems
