International Lecture Series Celebrating 75 Years of Pakistan–China Diplomatic Relations

Bahria University Health Sciences campus Karachi organized an international lecture series celebrating the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations, with the third and final lecture hosted by the Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics, Bahria University Dental College & Hospital, with the support of Professor Kashif Naqvi, Principal. Dr. Meisha Gul, Assistant Professor and ITI Scholar under the supervision of Prof. Yiqun Wu, coordinated the session. Dr. Yihan Shen, Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, delivered an online lecture on “Digital Workflow in Implant Dentistry,” followed by a Q&A session. The event was attended by Vice Principal, Heads of Departments, faculty, undergraduate and postgraduate students. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Professor Farzeen Tanveer.

Proud Moment for Bahria University Dental College!
Bahria University Dental College FCPS Final Year Resident, Dr Tooba Siddiqui, brought laurels to the institution by securing the Runners-up (2nd Position)- Research Excellence Award at the prestigious 1st SOD SZABMU International Dental Conference 2026 & 9th Annual Conference of Pak Association for Dental Research (IADR Pakistan Section).
Travelling from Karachi to Islamabad, she represented the university on a national stage and showcased exceptional academic dedication and research contribution in the Oral Presentation Postgraduate Competition Session ‘Research Excellence Award’ held at the Pak-China Friendship Center, Islamabad, on 7th–8th August 2026. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, academic excellence, and research commitment.
