🌱 Plantation Day Celebration at SHED ION & AHS 🌱 Students of SHED ION & AHS celebrated Plantation Day on the 5th March, 2026 with great enthusiasm. The event featured inspiring speeches and a meaningful tableau by Nursing & Midwifery students highlighting the importance of plantation and environmental protection. Through their performances, students emphasized the role of tree planting in combating climate change and contributing towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 13 – Climate Action. 🌍
The activity encouraged everyone to take responsibility for protecting our planet and building a greener, more sustainable future.

Post RN BSN Batch-1 students at SHED ION & AHS conducted an academic session on 16th February, 2026 about Culture, Health, and Society, highlighting the diverse cultural groups of Pakistan. The presentation explored historical backgrounds, dietary patterns, prevalent health concerns, health beliefs, health-seeking behaviors, and common myths. Emphasis was placed on the nurse’s role in delivering culturally congruent, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

Cheers to SHED ION & AHS for organizing a Sports Day that embodied the spirit of holistic well-being of students!
SHED ION & AHS successfully organized a vibrant and energetic two-day Annual Sports Carnival for the students of SHED ION and AHS BSN & CMW. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among students while providing a platform to showcase their athletic talents. The carnival commenced with an opening ceremony with motivational speech and national anthem. The trophies were revealed encouraging the students to give their best performances with ascension of vibrant balloons in air. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as students gathered with great excitement and team spirit. Throughout the two days, various sports activities were conducted. The competitions included track and field events such as races, relay races, tug of war, three legged race, and musical chairs along with cricket matches. The carnival concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners and runners-up were awarded medals and certificates.
The two-day Annual Sports Carnival was a memorable event that strengthened teamwork, boosted confidence, and encouraged a healthy lifestyle among students. It not only provided entertainment but also fostered unity and mutual respect among all participants.

"Bridging the gap between theory and practice”
So proud of our students' hard work! Semester-II students of SHED ION & AHS showcased their deep dive into Nursing Theories during the comprehensive poster presentation session held on February, 10th 2026. This academic exhibition was part of their core curriculum requirements. Students explored various conceptual frameworks, translating abstract models (such as Orem’s Self-Care, Roy’s Adaptation, and Watson’s Theory of Human Caring) into visual, easy-to-understand formats. The primary goal was to provide a platform for students to demonstrate their understanding of the Nursing theories that guide nurses in their professional nursing practice.
