Dear Law Department Students,
In view of the financial difficulties being faced by students regarding fee fines and course registration, *Salman Afridi*, President of the Law Society KUST (LSK), approached *Sir Bakhtiar*, Incharge Legal Cell, for assistance in resolving the matter.
The issue was subsequently taken up with the concerned authorities and was discussed through the Committee for Settlement of Students' Related Issues. Owing to the positive support and cooperation of *Sir Bakhtiar, Ma'am Humaira, Chief Proctor Mr. Shaukat Shujah*, and the Committee, the matter was successfully resolved.

We sincerely thank *Sir Bakhtiar, Ma'am Humaira, Chief Proctor Mr. Shaukat Shujah*, and the Committee for Settlement of Students' Related Issues for their valuable efforts and cooperation.
We are especially grateful to the Worthy *Vice Chancellor* for his kind attention to the matter and for granting approval in the best interest of the students.

آج جامعہ کوہاٹ کے مین گیٹ کے سامنے ایک انتہائی دلخراش واقعہ پیش آیا، جہاں ایمرجنسی کیئر ٹیکنالوجی کے فائنل سمسٹر کے دو طالب علموں، باسط سجاد اور فواد خٹک سے اسلحے کے زور پر موبائل فون چھین لیے گئے۔ متاثرہ دونوں طلباء خٹک سٹوڈنٹ ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن کے سرگرم اور فعال رکن ہیں۔
اس بزدلانہ واقعے کے فوری بعد تمام طلباء تنظیموں اور فیڈریشنز کے صدور کا ایک ہنگامی مشاورتی اجلاس طلب کیا گیا۔ رات کی تاخیر کے باوجود طلباء کی کثیر تعداد نے اپنے بھائیوں کے ساتھ اظہارِ یکجہتی کے لیے جمع ہو کر یہ ثابت کر دیا کہ طالب علموں کا اتحاد ناقابلِ تسخیر ہے۔
یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ اور ضلعی پولیس کو متنبہ کیا جاتا ہے کہ طلباء کی جان و مال کا تحفظ یقینی بنایا جائے۔ واقعے کے خلاف بھرپور احتجاج اور آئندہ کے سخت لائحہ عمل کا اعلان کل جلد ہی کر دیا جائے گا۔
"لا سوسائٹی کوہاٹ یونیورسٹی آف سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی (LSK) کے تمام ممبران نے اپنے صدر سلمان احمد آفریدی کے احکامات اور دی گئی ہدایات کی روشنی میں اس احتجاجی تحریک اور ہڑتال میں بھرپور شرکت کی اور اپنے اتحاد کا ثبوت دیا۔"

We extend our most profound gratitude to the Department of Law, KUST, for placing their ultimate trust and votes in Salman Ahmed Afridi. In return, he has honored that mandate with unwavering integrity, never letting the department down. Backed by the Law Society KUST (LSK), he resolved our long-standing issues through diplomatic finesse, without a single protest or strike.

Dear Students,
The recent fee boycott by the 8th and 4th semesters has led to a major breakthrough. Thanks to the persistent efforts of LSK, we are pleased to announce:

Permanent Faculty:
Following our protest, KUST has officially advertised for permanent faculty positions.

PBC Registration:
The registration process with the Pakistan Bar Council is in progress, with results expected within the next two weeks.

We are pleased to share a significant milestone, the advertisement for permanent faculty positions in the Law Department has been officially released. As this is a primary requirement of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), we are confident that the NOC issue will be resolved in the near future. Given the dedicated efforts of the Law Society KUST (LSK), we look forward to sharing more positive updates soon.
