The Departments of Chemistry and Zoology at Govt. Graduate College Chowk Sarwar Shaheed jointly organized a dynamic and intellectually stimulating Science Exhibition.

The exhibition showcased a wide array of innovative models and practical experiments prepared by talented students. These exhibits effectively illustrated key scientific concepts, including chemical reactions, environmental conservation, human anatomy, and emerging trends in modern science.

The faculty members of both departments played a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring the students. Under the dedicated leadership of the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Mr. Muhammad Ismail, and the Head of the Department of Zoology, Mr. Asad Ali Raza, students were encouraged to explore scientific ideas creatively and present them with clarity and confidence. Their continuous support, supervision, and academic insight significantly contributed to the success of the exhibition.

Students enthusiastically explained their projects to visitors, reflecting not only their deep understanding but also their passion for scientific inquiry.

The respected Principal, Dr. Muhammad Hanif, along with faculty members, visited the exhibition. He highly appreciated the students’ efforts and the commitment of the faculty, and encouraged students to remain curious and innovative in their pursuit of knowledge.

A vibrant Literary Exhibition was organized by the Department of English at Govt. Graduate College Chowk Sarwar Shaheed to promote literary awareness, creativity, and appreciation for English literature among students.

The exhibition was arranged under the guidance of the Head of the Department of English, Mr. Naveed Anjum, and with the support of the Principal, Dr. Muhammad Hanif. Students enthusiastically presented a variety of creative displays, including literary charts, quotations of renowned writers, book reviews, and their own poems and writings.

A special attraction of the exhibition was the creative models representing major literary periods, including the Renaissance, Elizabethan Age, Romantic Period, Victorian Age, and the Modern Period. These models helped visitors visually understand the historical development of English literature and the cultural contexts in which great literary works were produced.

The faculty members of the English Department played a vital role in organizing and guiding the students, making the exhibition both informative and engaging. A large number of students and faculty members visited the exhibition and appreciated the efforts of the organizers and participants.

Principal Dr. Muhammad Hanif also visited the exhibition and appreciated the efforts of Mr. Naveed Anjum, the faculty members, and the students for organizing such a meaningful academic activity that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation of literature among students.

The students of Govt. Graduate College, Chowk Sarwar Shaheed were invited by Multan Garrison for an educational and recreational day with the Pakistan Army. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the professional responsibilities, discipline, and modern capabilities of the armed forces.

The program began with an informative presentation delivered by military personnel, highlighting the role of the Pakistan Army in national defense, peacekeeping missions, and internal security. This was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, during which students actively participated and showed keen interest by asking insightful questions. The military officer responded patiently, providing clear and motivating answers.

After the session, the students were served hi-tea, which provided an opportunity for informal interaction and reflection on the activities of the day. Subsequently, an exhibition of arms and other military equipment was arranged. The students were briefed about the use, functionality, and importance of various weapons and equipment, which enhanced their understanding of modern military technology.

At the conclusion of the visit, a souvenir was presented to the Principal, Dr. Muhammad Hanif, as a gesture of appreciation and goodwill.
Overall, the visit was highly informative and memorable. It strengthened civil-military relations and inspired students by giving them firsthand exposure to the professionalism and dedication of the Pakistan Army.
