National Summer School – 2026
A Nationwide Call for Academic Leadership, Innovation, and Collaboration
The Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences is pleased to announce that the response to the National Summer School – 2026 (NSS 2026) has already been exceptionally inspiring. Following the nationwide publication of our call for proposals on 10 May 2026, we have begun receiving strong academic proposals from scholars and experts representing provinces across Pakistan.
As one of the country’s leading centers for advanced mathematical sciences and interdisciplinary research, ASSMS envisions NSS 2026 as a transformative national platform bringing together students, researchers, educators, innovators, and professionals under one intellectual framework. The initiative is designed to foster rigorous academic exchange, cultivate emerging talent, and strengthen research culture through thematic schools, advanced lecture series, workshops, and collaborative programs.
We invite passionate resource persons and academic leaders from universities, research institutes, industry, and scientific organizations to contribute proposals that can inspire the next generation of scholars. NSS 2026 aims not merely to host courses, but to create an environment where ideas evolve into research directions, collaborations emerge across disciplines, and students discover pathways toward meaningful scientific careers.
The Summer School will strive to cover a broad spectrum of contemporary and foundational areas including mathematics, artificial intelligence, data science, quantum computing, computational biology, fluid dynamics, optimization, financial mathematics, climate mathematics, and other interdisciplinary domains where mathematical thinking drives innovation.
At ASSMS, we believe that national academic progress depends upon creating spaces where talent from every region of Pakistan can interact freely with accomplished mentors and researchers. Through NSS 2026, our goal is to provide such a platform — one that encourages intellectual curiosity, academic excellence, and a shared commitment to scientific advancement.
