A meaningful step toward strengthening industry–academia collaboration 🤝

The Automotive Engineering Centre had the honor of hosting a collaborative meeting with Suzuki Pakistan, marking an important milestone in bridging practical industry exposure with academic learning. The session focused on future collaboration, technical knowledge sharing, and creating opportunities that empower engineering students with hands-on experience aligned with real-world automotive practices.

This collaboration was held under the guidance and leadership of Prof. Dr. Amjad Hussain (Campus Coordinator, New Campus and Professor, Automotive Engineering Centre) and Dr. Zia ul Rehman Tahir (Director, Automotive Engineering Centre), whose continued efforts and vision play a vital role in strengthening industrial linkages and advancing engineering education.

We are especially grateful to Suzuki Pakistan for their generous contribution in donating two 660cc Suzuki Every Van engines to the Automotive Engineering Centre. This valuable donation will significantly enhance our laboratory facilities, enabling students to gain deeper insight into engine systems, diagnostics, and practical automotive applications.

Such initiatives reflect a shared vision of nurturing skilled engineers, promoting innovation, and strengthening Pakistan’s automotive ecosystem through meaningful partnerships. We sincerely appreciate Suzuki Pakistan for their continued support, trust, and commitment toward engineering education and talent development.

We look forward to further collaborations that contribute to knowledge exchange, technical excellence, and the professional growth of our future automotive engineers. 🚗⚙️
