سعودی شاہی محل میں سناٹا چھا گیا... جب کراچی کے ایک غریب جلاہے نے کروڑوں ریال کا بلینک چیک ٹھکرا کر ایک ایسی شرط رکھ دی، جس نے خود سعودی حکام کی آنکھیں بھی نم کر دیں!

یہ ناقابلِ یقین اور ایمان افروز کہانی 82 سالہ حاجی ایوب کی ہے، جو قیام پاکستان کے وقت ہجرت کر کے کراچی (بنارس ٹاؤن) آئے تھے۔ 1980 میں سعودی حکومت نے خانہ کعبہ کے اندرونی غلاف کے لیے دنیا بھر سے ماہر ترین کاریگروں کو بلوایا۔ 40 نامور کاریگروں کے درمیان جس شخص کے ہاتھ کے بنے ڈیزائن کو چنا گیا... وہ کراچی کا یہی غریب بنارسی کاریگر تھا!

1982 میں جب غلاف تیار ہو گیا تو سعودی حکام نے حاجی ایوب کو خصوصی شاہی مہمان بنا کر بلایا اور انہیں ان کی محنت کے بدلے منہ مانگے مالی معاوضے کی پیشکش کی۔

لیکن حاجی ایوب نے ہاتھ جوڑ کر کہا: "مجھے آپ کے ریال نہیں چاہییں... اگر دینا ہی ہے تو مجھے اپنے گنہگار ہاتھوں سے خانہ کعبہ کے اندر غلاف چڑھانے کی اجازت دے دیں!"

ان کی یہ سچی تڑپ دیکھ کر حکام نے فوراً اجازت دے دی۔ جب حاجی ایوب خانہ کعبہ کے اندر داخل ہوئے تو ہیبت اور جلال سے ان کی ٹانگیں کانپ رہی تھیں۔ کہتے ہیں کہ جب وہ پرانا غلاف اتار کر نیا نصب کر رہے تھے، تو کعبے کے اندر کی تیز خوشبو اور ان کے آنسوؤں کی جھڑی نے نئے غلاف کے ریشم کو بھگو دیا تھا!

جس کعبے کے اندر جانے کو دنیا کے طاقتور ترین بادشاہ ترستے ہیں، وہاں کراچی کے ایک غریب کاریگر نے سجدہ ریز ہو کر وہ مقام پایا جو صرف نصیب والوں کو ملتا ہے۔

بے شک وہ بادشاہوں کا بادشاہ ہے، وہ جسے چاہے اپنے در کا بنا لے
