Once again OPA organized an event on 19th January 2012 to re-invigorate the energies and for overall holistic development of UMT students.
The”E Joys-Vinter Vaganza” where the preparations were evident of the upcoming fun. Everyone was expecting a grand event one of those you do not easily forget. It later turned out the event was not a complete success due to apparent mismanagement. Nothing is this shallow, allow me to dive a little deeper and unveil a few facts. Leader’s forum (apparently) did not like a few ideas some of which were complete rumors and despite of all our efforts to decently talk them out of it they still seemed convinced to create trouble. They spread their people everywhere who made sure nothing works out well. They misbehaved on the stage successfully offending the hosts, disturbed the sound system and generator so keenly that it fooled everyone into thinking that the generator malfunctioned on the spot. It doesn’t end here; they were disrespectful with the management team, Media and above all Head of Department of OPA.
They might have spent last night celebrating their semi-victory, little do they know they jeopardized not just their own image but also that of them very own university. Do still call is a victory????

Dear Colleagues and Students,
As a number of you already know that i have left UMT, this is my sincere goodbye to each and every one of you.
I want you all to know that I am truly leaving here with mixed feelings; happy about my new career opportunity, but sad to be leaving such a great company where I have so many wonderful friends and colleagues. The last three years as a part of UMT was the best period of my career so far. I learned a great deal from my Alma mater and worked with many people with whom I am sure I will remain friends for a long time. I can only wish that my new career will give me such rewarding experiences and supportive friends.
