Chawla Mathematical Society, GC University, Lahore {Official Page} Mathematical Society was renamed as Chawla Mathematical Society (CMS) in 1970 by Captain Abdul Majeed, after the name of well known Prof.

The society is named after Dr. Lal Muhammad Chawla, a prominent educationist and mathematician who served as the Chairperson of the Department of Mathematics at Government College Lahore from 1952-1955,1957-1965,1967-1969. Dr Lal Muhammad Chawla to address issues of students and promote academic and co-curricular activities in the Department.
