🌟 UMT Celebrates a Remarkable Achievement! 🌟

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the results of the Central Superior Service (CSS 2024) Written Examination, where out of 15,602 candidates, only 395 succeeded — marking a highly competitive passing rate of just 2.53%.

We are immensely proud to share that Kinza Khan, a Gold Medalist of IAS Batch 2018–2022, has successfully passed the written portion of the CSS exam on her very first attempt (Roll No. 043170). Her hard work, dedication, and academic excellence continue to reflect the high standards of the Institute of Aviation Studies (IAS), UMT.

This milestone is not only a personal triumph for Kinza but also a proud moment for the entire UMT community. Her success is a testament to the values of perseverance, integrity, and academic rigor that we instill in our students.

The Aeromodeling Club at IAS-UMT is excited to bring you a thrilling Paper Plane Competition as part of ICAD 2024. Showcase your skills and compete for amazing prizes! 🎉

Team Requirement:

Each team must consist of 2 members.

🕒 Time: 1000 hrs
📍 Venue: UMT Saleem Asghar Hall

Competition Rounds:
✈️ Round 1:

Build paper planes using materials provided by the Aeromodeling Club.
Top 9 teams will qualify based on flight time and distance covered.
✈️ Final Round:

Fly gliders provided by the Aeromodeling Club.
Each team gets two attempts. Winners will be judged on flight time and distance.

Students recently visited International Airport and experienced the real-time work environment at International & Domestic departure and Arrival Lounges, CIP Lounge, Immigration, ANF, ASF, Customs, Airline counters Air Traffic Control Tower Aparon Area & Radar Control Unit.
