[ Research Update] It is a matter of great pride for UMT that Dr Muhammad Zubair, Lecturer for the Department of Mathematics (SST) has been awarded with the "Research Productivity Award 2013-14" by Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) in the category "C”. He is ranked at 124th position among the 321 successful candidates and placed second as PhD Scholar.

He has recently completed his PhD in the field of General Relativity and Cosmology from Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab Lahore, Pakistan. He has published 16 research papers in ISI impact factor journals of International repute with total impact factor 45.

Dr Muhammad Zubair has also been awarded with Research Fellowship from DPCC, University of Punjab, Pakistan for MPhil research work and Indigenous PhD
