It is a moment of great pride and Honor for the Institute of Information Management to announce that Dr-Muhammad Rafiq (Associate Professor, IIM) has been selected as Chair of the IFLA Journal Editorial Committee of the IFLA - International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions.
IFLA Journal is an international, scholarly, peer-reviewed journal and the official journal of IFLA, publishing research, case studies, and critical scholarship on library and information services and the wider social, political, technological, and economic issues affecting access to information worldwide. Published quarterly by SAGE, the journal has a truly international readership and serves as an important platform for advancing knowledge and professional dialogue across the global library and information community. It is indexed in major scholarly databases, including SCOPUS and Web of Science, and is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The Committee works closely with IFLA’s Professional Council and plays an important role in maintaining the quality and relevance of the Journal for a global readership.
This prestigious opportunity will open great scholarly avenues for the Pakistani Library and Information Science community to contribute to the visibility and advancement of library and information management scholarship on the international stage.
