A Webinar-cum-Workshop on “Corpus Methods in Linguistics” was organized by the Department of English at NUML Lahore Campus. Dr. Humera Faraz (Assistant Professor and Manager Corpus Research Center at Air University was the guest speaker. The session provided valuable insights into the application of Corpus linguistics highlighting its role in data analysis, and research efficiency. The session was attended by MPhil scholars of Linguistics along with faculty members from the department. The advisor MPhil Program, Dr Afsheen Ekhteyar concluded the session. The session proved to be an enriching experience

Day 2: Workshop on “Python in Linguistic Research” concluded successfully today at NUML Lahore Campus under the guidance of Mr. Salahuddin. The session focused on the application of Python in modern linguistic research, including data analysis and corpus studies. MPhil Linguistics scholars actively participated under the supervision of Dr. Afsheen Ekhtyar. The Head of Department, Dr. Faiqa, also interacted with the students and encouraged them to adopt innovative research methods.
