Punjab Student Council bids farewell to its Chairman, Abdul Rehman Gondal.

With a heart full of pride and gratitude, Punjab Student Council announces the departure of its Chairman, Abdul Rehman Gondal, who is embarking on a new journey to the United Kingdom for his higher studies.

Abdul Rehman Gondal became a part of Punjab Student Council in 2020, beginning a journey that would span over six years of dedication, service and leadership.

Throughout these years, he served the Council in various capacities, carrying every responsibility with commitment and distinction:

Vice Chairman
Senior Vice Chairman
General Secretary
Chairman, Punjab Student Council

From his very first role to leading the Council as Chairman, his journey has been marked by consistency, hard work, strong relationships and an unwavering commitment to the students and the Council.

Beyond the titles and positions, his greatest contribution has been the spirit with which he worked—bringing people together, creating connections, listening to different voices, taking responsibility and leading with maturity. His years in the Council have left behind not only achievements, but also friendships, memories and a legacy that will remain a part of Punjab Student Council.

Today, as he leaves the position of Chairman to pursue his academic journey in the UK, the Council does not simply bid farewell to an office bearer; it bids farewell to a colleague, a leader and a brother who dedicated six important years of his life to this institution.

We are proud to have witnessed his journey from a young council member in 2020 to the Chairman of Punjab Student Council.

May this new chapter bring him greater opportunities, success and distinction.

Punjab Student Council wishes Abdul Rehman Gondal the very best for his journey ahead.

🇵🇰 آزادی صرف ایک لفظ نہیں، ایک طویل جدوجہد اور بے شمار قربانیوں کی داستان ہے۔

14 اگست 1947ء کو پاکستان دنیا کے نقشے پر ایک آزاد ملک کی حیثیت سے ابھرا، مگر یہ آزادی ہمیں آسانی سے نہیں ملی۔ برصغیر کے مسلمانوں نے اپنے الگ وطن کے خواب کو حقیقت بنانے کے لیے ایک طویل سیاسی، سماجی اور تاریخی جدوجہد کی۔ قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کی قیادت میں مسلمانوں نے اپنے سیاسی، مذہبی اور قومی حقوق کے لیے متحد ہو کر ایک ایسی تحریک چلائی جس نے بالآخر پاکستان کے قیام کی راہ ہموار کی۔

قیامِ پاکستان کے وقت ہجرت کا ایک ایسا باب بھی رقم ہوا جسے تاریخ کبھی فراموش نہیں کر سکتی۔ لاکھوں لوگوں نے اپنے گھر، زمینیں اور کاروبار چھوڑے، خاندان بچھڑے، قافلوں نے طویل اور کٹھن سفر کیے، اور بے شمار انسانوں نے اپنی جانوں کی قربانی دی۔ ماؤں نے اپنے بیٹے، بہنوں نے اپنے بھائی اور خاندانوں نے اپنے پیارے کھوئے—صرف اس امید پر کہ آنے والی نسلیں ایک آزاد وطن میں عزت اور آزادی کے ساتھ زندگی گزار سکیں۔

آج ہمارے ہاتھ میں لہراتا ہوا یہ سبز ہلالی پرچم ہمیں یاد دلاتا ہے کہ آزادی ایک نعمت بھی ہے اور ایک ذمہ داری بھی۔
ہم پر لازم ہے کہ ہم اپنے وطن کی قدر کریں، اتحاد کو مضبوط کریں، قانون اور آئین کا احترام کریں، تعلیم و ترقی کو فروغ دیں اور پاکستان کو ایک مضبوط، پُرامن اور خوشحال ملک بنانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں۔

آئیے اس یومِ آزادی پر صرف جشن نہ منائیں، بلکہ اُن قربانیوں کو بھی یاد کریں جن کی بنیاد پر یہ وطن ہمیں ملا۔
