LUMS UK Alumni Reunion 2026!

A wonderful afternoon of reconnecting, reminiscing, and celebrating the LUMS alumni community in the UK!

Hosted at the Pakistan High Commission in London, the reunion brought together LUMS alumni for engaging conversations, meaningful connections, and an insightful fireside chat with Vice Chancellor Dr. Ali Cheema and alumni representatives from the tech, consulting, finance, and public sectors.

From the LUMS Trivia Quiz to lively networking over lunch, it was a memorable afternoon filled with the spirit of community that continues to connect LUMS alumni across the world.

A special thank you to Mr. Ahmed Salman Tariq (BSc 2011), Swaiba Saeed (BSc 2021), and Hanzla Ahmed Khan (BSc 2018) for their valuable support in bringing the reunion together.

And, of course, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the LUMS UK Alumni Reunion 2026 a success.

LUMS Dubai Women’s Meetup: Conversations, Connections & Community! ✨

LUMS alumnae from across the UAE came together for a warm, women-only evening of meaningful conversations, new connections and shared experiences.

Hosted by Maryam Zulfiqar (BSc 2020), the meetup brought together women at different stages of their journeys—from career conversations and navigating the UAE job market to personal experiences, ideas, laughter and everything in between.

With alumnae travelling from across the UAE and even little ones joining along, the evening was a beautiful reminder of the strength of the LUMS community. 💙

Here’s to creating more spaces for LUMS women to connect, support and grow—one conversation at a time.

The LUMS UAE Alumni Chapter came together over two memorable evenings of casual dinners, conversation, and reconnecting!

From Syrian cuisine at Aroos Damascus in March to Egyptian cuisine at Abo Ali Restaurant in August, these informal gatherings offered alumni a chance to catch up, share stories, and strengthen their LUMS connections.

It was especially wonderful to see alumni from across generations, from LUMS’ very first batch in 1988 and the Class of 1991 to our newest alumni from 2025, come together and celebrate their shared LUMS journey.

Here’s to more opportunities to connect, reconnect, and stay !

Some stories begin with a plan. Others begin when the plan falls apart.

We’re thrilled to feature this latest short story by Saba Karim Khan (BSc 2006), “G.O.A.T.” — Greatest of All Times in Three Days, published in Literati, The News on Sunday, in which she imagines a world where childhood comes with strategy, optimisation and competitive advantage.

Swipe through for an excerpt, and discover a story that reminds us that sometimes, the most unexpected moments make the best stories.
