🌊 Learning Beyond the Classroom | Field Visit to Head Balloki 🏗️
The Society of Civil Engineers (SOCE) successfully organized an insightful educational field trip to Head Balloki—one of the key barrage structures on the Ravi River—for our Final Year Students (Batch 2022)!
This hands-on industrial visit gave our graduating engineers a real-world perspective on Pakistan's vital irrigation infrastructure. From observing barrage operations and canal network management to understanding large-scale water distribution, it was a practical masterclass in water resources engineering.
Bridging the gap between classroom theory and field practice is what we strive for at SOCE!
A special thanks to our respected faculty members for their continuous guidance, and to the officials at Head Balloki for facilitating our team and students throughout the visit.
