🚨 Important Announcement for Federal Board students appearing in ECAT 2026: Students facing a clash between their Federal Board examinations and ECAT schedule must submit an application through the ONLINE portal before June 10, 2026, along with their ECAT registration slip and valid supporting evidence. Only verified cases will be accommodated at the Lahore Centre on the weekend after Ashura holidays.

The 75th anniversary of the enduring and exemplary friendship between Pakistan and China was celebrated at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore with great enthusiasm and dignity. On this occasion, the university buildings were illuminated with colorful lights representing the national flags of Pakistan and China, turning the entire campus into a beautiful symbol of friendship, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation.

The purpose of the ceremony was to pay tribute to the long-standing relations, mutual trust, academic collaboration, and shared journey of progress between the two brotherly countries. Faculty members, students, and administrative officials described Pakistan-China friendship as a symbol of peace, development, and stability in the region.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, in his message stated that the friendship between Pakistan and China is truly “sweeter than honey, higher than the Himalayas, and deeper than the oceans,” a bond that has brought the two nations closer together in every difficult time. He said that UET Lahore remains committed to further strengthening academic and scientific cooperation with Chinese universities and research institutions.

He further remarked that Pakistan-China relations are not limited to diplomatic ties alone; rather, they reflect mutual trust, public affection, and the bright hope of a shared future.
