distribution ceremony of Batch of 365 Office Suit Course (30 Hours CPD) was held on 07-07-2025 at Engineering Technology Department, Tianjin University of Technology (PTUT). The Resource Person of the Course was . Tanveer Akhtar. Chancellor PTUT Prof. Dr. Aqif Anwar Chaudhry and Dean Prof. Dr. Muhammad Usman Rashid graced the event and distributed the certificates / shields to the successful students. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the department for initiating century certification courses for students.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Usman Rashid, Dean of Civil & Architecture Engineering Technology at PTUT, recently visited the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

During the visit, Dr. Rashid held productive discussions with Prof. Sajjad Ahmad, exploring dynamic avenues for joint research and academic synergy. Comprehensive briefing on ongoing projects was given and critical future areas of mutual interest in civil engineering and water resources were mapped out. Different avenues of research collaboration between civil engineering technology department, PTUT and Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction, UNLV were explored. Both sides agreed in building close ties to collaborate in the common areas of mutual interest. Detailed overview of ongoing projects and future areas of mutual interest was given.
